The Executing (MP) Firm Trade Reporting report card is a monthly status report, for trades that another firm reported on behalf of the market participant, on the number and percentage of:
  • marked late trades and
  • unmarked late trades.
As you know, member firms are required to report trades in accordance with established NASD® rules and regulations. If your firm engages in a pattern or practice of late trade reporting or improperly reporting trades, the firm may be found to be in violation of NASD Conduct Rule 2110 and applicable trade reporting rules. Member firms should make no inference, however, that staff of FINRA's Market Regulation Department has or has not determined that the information contained on the Trade Reporting report cards does or does not constitute rule violations.

Firm Quote Compliance - CQS

The Firm Quote Compliance (FQC) report card is a monthly status report detailing the total number and percentage of your firm's preferenced SelectNetSM Liability Orders or CAES/ITS orders (for purposes of this definitions page, hereinafter together referred to as Liability Orders) that timed out, were cancelled by the order entry firm, or were declined by your firm in apparent violation of the SEC's firm quote rule. If non-compliance with the firm quote rule is found to exist, however, your firm may be found to be in violation of SEC Rule 605, NASD Conduct Rule 3320, and NASDAQ Marketplace Rule 4613(b). Member firms should make no inference, however, that staff of FINRA's Market Regulation Department has or has not determined that the information contained on the Firm Quote Compliance report cards does or does not constitute firm quote violations.

The Best Execution (BE) report card is a monthly status report detailing the number of transactions in which your firm participated, irrespective of reporting responsibility, that were executed outside of the inside market in apparent violation of the NASD's Best Execution Rule. If non-compliance with the Best Execution Rule is found to exist, however, your firm may be found to be in violation of NASD Conduct Rule 2320. Member firms should make no inference, however, that staff of NASD Regulation Inc.'s Market Regulation Department has or has not determined that the information contained on the Best Execution report cards does or does not constitute rule violations.

The Short Sale Bid Test (BT) report card is a monthly status report on the number and percentage of potential executions of short sales in violation of NASD Rule 3350. As you know, member firms are required to execute short sales in accordance with established NASD rules and regulations. If your firm engages in a pattern or practice of engaging in violative short sale activity, the firm may be found to be in violation of NASD Conduct Rule 3350. Member firms should make no inference, however, that the staff of FINRA's Market Regulation Department has or has not determined that the information contained on the Short Sale report cards does or does not constitute rule violations.

ii. Out of Sequence events;
ii. Unmatched execution reports;

    and
iv. Unrepaired Repairable Rejected order events.

As you know, member firms are required to submit Reportable Order Events (“ROEs”) to OATS in accordance with established NASD rules and regulations. If your firm engages in a pattern or practice of late OATS reporting or improperly reporting order events, the firm may be found to be in violation of NASD Conduct Rule 2110 and applicable OATS rules. Member firms should make no inference, however, that

Historical Research Reports
MMPMR (Available as .html, .ascii, or .csv) MMPMR details a Market Maker's quote updates (price and size) for a NASDAQ® security on a specified date or a selected period of time on a specific date. The report also includes the inside bid and ask at the time of each quote update.
MMPMR Plus (Available as .ascii or .csv) MMPMR Plus details all Market Maker's quote updates (price and size) for a NASDAQ® security on a specified date or a selected period of time on a specific date. The report also includes the inside bid and ask at the time of each quote update.
ETJ
(Available as .html, .ascii, or .csv)
The Equity Trade Journal details a Market Participants ACT-reported trade (record) for a single NASDAQ or Exchange listed issue for the date requested. The .html format consists of two rows of information, the stacked information relates to the stacked column heading at the top of the report. The .ascii and .csv versions contain the same data fields, but the field labels are provided as column headings, and the data is presented in columns, not as rows.
ETJ Download. (Available as .ascii or .csv) The Equity Trade Journal Download is a proprietary listing of all of a MP's trade reports in NASDAQ for a given day.
Daily MP Position Download. (Available as .ascii or .csv) The download file contains all of the end-of-day registration statuses for all issues your MPID is registered in, for the date that was entered. The first four fields are the columns within the text file, and the last six fields are summaries located at the end of the file.
SuperMontage Activity Report - RTF format

SuperMontage Activity Report - CSV format

The SuperMontage Activity Report consists of all SuperMontage Execution System orders a firm has participated in within an issue for a given day. The components of an order (i.e., partials, cancellations, and executions) that are provided, detail the lifecycle of the order. The SuperMontage Activity Report replaced the SuperSoes and the SelectNet Activity Reports. SelectNet and SuperSoes Activity Reports continue to be available for issues prior to their phased-in date to SuperMontage for historical purposes only.

Please note this report is only available for an issue prior to when it was phased-in to SuperMontage. The SelectNet Activity Report consists of all orders a firm has participated in within an issue for a given day. The components of an order (i.e., partials, counters, and executions) that are provided, detail the lifecycle of the order.
SuperSoes/SOES Activity Report - RTF format

SuperSoes/SOES Activity Report - CSV format

Please note this report is only available for an issue prior to when it was phased-in to SuperMontage. The SuperSoes Activity Report consists of all orders a firm has participated in within an issue for a given day. The components of an order (i.e., partials, counters, and executions) that are provided, detail the lifecycle of the order.
Time and Sales with Inside Quote
(Available as .csv)
This report details all of the trades (Time & Sales) of a requested security for a specific date as well as all the Inside Quote changes for the issue. The report includes the time, price, and volume of each trade for the requested date. This report also provides a record of changes to the inside quote (highest bid, lowest ask) for the requested issue for the requested date.
