Effective Friday, November 14th, 2025, Nasdaq will begin disseminating the following new index on Nasdaq Global Index Watch (GIW) and the Nasdaq Global Index Data ServiceSM (GIDS).

UPDATE: Nasdaq will not provide components for this index.

What is the new index?

The Nasdaq-100 Long/Short 10% Index is designed to provide variable exposure to the Nasdaq-100 Total Return Index, while targeting a 10% level of volatility. The Index uses a directional adaptive risk targeting method to dynamically adjust exposure to the Nasdaq-100 Total Return Index on a daily basis with the aim of achieving a 10% volatility target.

How is the Index disseminated?

On Friday, November 14th, 2025, data recipients will receive real-time index information from the proprietary GIDS data feed with the following attributes:
