What you need to know:Effective Monday, January 5th, 2026, Nasdaq will change the name of the Symbol for the following index on Nasdaq Global Index Watch (GIW) and the Nasdaq Global Index Data ServiceSM (GIDS). UPDATE 26 December 2025:The index symbol for Nasdaq-100 Intraday 35% Volatility Compass 6% Decrement Index will be updated to “XNDX356C”. |

What is the new index?
The Nasdaq-100 Intraday 35% Volatility Compass 6% Decrement Index is designed to provide exposure to the Nasdaq-100 Total Return Index® (XNDX) while targeting a volatility of 35%. The Index uses intraday volatility control and synthetic put mechanisms for drawdown control with the aim of capturing significant intraday swings that might not be reflected in close-to-close observations. The Indexes rebalance up to seven times per day using time-weighted average prices.
How is the Index disseminated?
On Monday, January 5th, 2026, data recipients will receive real-time index information from the proprietary GIDS data feed with the following attributes:
