Effective Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, Nasdaq will change the name of the following Indexes on the Nasdaq Global Index Data Service SM (GIDS).


What are the indexes?

The Nasdaq-100 8% Target Income Index tracks the performance of a systematic at-the-money covered call strategy. The strategy aims to generate an 8% annual income via short positions of at-the-money Nasdaq-100® (NDX®) Index call options, sized based on the coverage ratio, with monthly expirations.

The Nasdaq-100 8% Target Income Call Only Index is an option index that only measures the performance of the short call portion of the Nasdaq-100 8% Target Income™ Index.

What are the changes?

On February 11th, 2026, data recipients will receive real-time index information from the proprietary GIDS data feed with the following attributes:

NDXTIO8 Nasdaq-100 8% Target Income Call Only Index Nasdaq-100 8% Income Target Call Only Index

Nasdaq will support the following directory messages on GIDS:

  • Equities Summary (Message Type F): Disseminated at the end of the U.S. and European trading session to relay the summary of the current trading day's activity for an equity index.
  • Index Directory (Message Type R): Disseminated at the start of each day to relay basic index information.
